HOW TO INSTALL
Install two hooks to ceiling as follows:
1. Into plaster or plaster board - drill a hole in the ceiling to the same diameter
as the closed flaps of the toggle wing-nut (A). Thread hook (B) onto one
end of the threaded bolt (C) and the toggle wing-nut (A) onto other end.
Fold flaps down and insert into hole. Let flaps expand and tighten by pulling
down on the hook and turning clockwise.
2. Into wood beam - thread wood screw (D) into hook (B). Then screw the
assembly into the wood.
CAUTION: Injury to persons and damage to the ceiling (or wall) may result
if the lamp or mounting hardware is pulled from the ceiling (or wall). To
reduce the likelihood of such injury, mount only on a surface that is
mechanically sound. Do not drape electrical wire on the hook. Slide the
chain link only over the hook. Do not use on radiant-heating type
ceiling. Weight of lamp housing including shade, glassware, 4 ft.
chain and any additional loading shall not exceed 30 pounds.
INSTALACIÓN:
Instale dos ganchos en el cielorraso de la siguiente manera:
1. En yeso y plancha de yeso – perfore un agujero en el cielorraso del
mismo diámetro que las aletas cerradas de la tuerca de anclaje tipo
mariposa (A). Atornille el gancho (B) en uno de los extremos del perno
roscado (C) y la tuerca de anclaje tipo mariposa (A) en el otro extremo.
Pliegue las aletas hacia abajo e insértelas en el agujero. Permita que las
aletas se expandan y ajústelas halando el gancho hacia abajo y girándolo en sentido horario.
2. En viga de madera - enrosque el tornillo para madera (D) al gancho (B). Atornille luego el
conjunto en la madera.
ADVERTENCIA: Si la lámpara o la tornillería de montaje son haladas del cielorraso (o la
pared) existe peligro de lesión para las personas y daño al cielorraso (o la pared). Para
reducir la probabilidad de dicho tipo de lesiones, realice el montaje solo sobre una
superficie mecánicamente sólida. No cuelgue el cordón eléctrico en el gancho. Deslice el
eslabón de la cadena sobre el gancho solamente. No utilizar en cielorrasos con sistema
de calefacción radiante. El peso del alojamiento de la lámpara incluyendo la pantalla, los
accesorios de vidrio, una cadena de 1,22 m (4 pies) de largo, y cualquier otra carga
adicional no deberá exceder 13,60 kg (30 libras).
